What is Stuff I Really Want?

Stuff I Really Want is a website where you can make a list for Santa, the Easter Bunny and the birthday fairy of fabulous things that you would like to receive as gifts. You can then share the list with your nearest and dearest (using the share option at the base of your list) and sit back and wait for the gifts to be bestowed.

Ideally your family will make lists too, and this makes present buying much easier and ensures that the recipient will be delighted with the present you've bought them. The lists are secure, and can only be viewed by people that you invite. Alternatively you can make your lists public; this will enable them to be viewed by anyone who knows your e-mail address.

You can also create lists for specific events such as a wedding, christening or baby shower. This means that your list isn't limited to one specific supplier and you can add items from your local independent suppliers. If they have a website, then you just cut and paste the link. If they don't, then just add a text description of the gift and its location and hopefully someone will pop out and buy it for you.

We would love to champion small, independent and local businesses, and encourage users to seek out their websites find something a bit special that you can't get from the multi-nationals (even if it's just that warm fuzzy feeling of supporting the local business community).
